Whew, that was fun... Thanks again to the windy ridge group for putting on an excellent event again. This time I learned not to go food shopping for the camper at this event. They have it all! Breakfast, lunch and dinner! Keeps us flying from early in the morning and till the sun sets. (That's the best part.)
thanks again to the tow pilots for getting us airborne. Also it was great meeting new people again this year, especially Peter Goldsmith and Kyle Schweizer.

I can only say it gets better each time. Despite a little rain, the weather was much better than it was forcasted to be and each day was flyable. Many thanks to all that contributed to making this a great event. Steve, Kevin, Jim, the multitude of others that it took to pull this off. Tow pilots included - at times there were 3 tugs running and it was a steady stream of gliders moving from the line to airborne. Especially one evening everything opened up and the wind dropped off and it was a rush to get in some ideal soar time.

A special note to Jim and the kitchen crew for not only providing 3 meals a day, but really delicious meals to boot! Thank you for all that effort.

Come for the food, stay for the flying - or is it - Come for the flying and stay for the food ??? Where ever your priorities lie, It was great people, friends, flying and food. For those that did not make it, plan for next year. You won't be disappointed.

Well as the sun sets on another Windy Ridge event, looking forward to the next event.

A couple or quick shots from the album and settling in to work on it.

Also many thanks for the great shots already posted.

                Jeff D

Thanks to everyone involved with putting together this great weekend; organizers, tow pilots, and all our scale soaring friends. The hospitality here is among the best on the circuit. Well more than required but well appreciated.

Hi All. I finally got my photos up. Here is the album link:

A few more than usual. I kept thinking the weather was going to be an issue and as usual there was plenty of flying. Especially one great evening session! That plus some special appearances from the Horizon Hobby camp so I just kept shooting.

                    Enjoy.

                    Jeff
