  • Space Coast Aero Tow 25 and 26 March 2107

    Folks,

Steve Formanek here from Melbourne, FL. Kris asked me to start a thread and post the flyer for the 2017 Space Coast Aero Tow. There is an old thread out there that Kris is trying to get removed. I believe Len already has a registration page set up for our event. Hope to see you all out there! Space_Coast_Aerotow_2017.pdf

As usual....I'll be there with my Bidule 170. I should be able to tow anything short of full-scale!

I don't think any of us will make that event 90 years from now!

Day 1 was very windy and scared off a lot of pilots. But we few and had a good time.

Day 2 was beautiful. Light winds down the runway, warm temps and allot of flying. My Bidule 120 preformed very well and after changing the C/G as per Len B. and Jim D. landings are beautiful.

Lift was very good and Rich L and his 5m KA8 found a parking space up there and we had to wake him up to land.

#7 is in the books and looking forward to the next one.

Just want to say thanks to all who attended.

Gusting winds on Saturday did not stop them from flying. Special thanks to Kris and Steve for putting on this event!
