    Looks like lots of fiddly stuff is done! The fuse to wing join area looks good! Planking is kinda fun, ain't it!!!

                    Hi again to all,

                    That's it, the whole thing is now covered! The wing fit on the fuselage is a bit complicated: the two front nylon screws are to be attached from below, inside the fuse right behind the pilot... British design ...? So far, however, everything fits perfectly, so no worry! Enjoy these few pictures...

                        Job completely done!!!!

                        Sorry folks for the long absence... Busy at work and busy building and finishing the Slingsby ! But it's now completely balanced and ready to fly. I'm pretty happy with the specs: the weight announced by the designer (circa 1987...) was 10 lbs; I ended up at 9.85 lbs (4475 grams). With ballast and pilot - the plane would not fly now without it, literally!!! - , for a total of 3.15 lbs (1425 grams), flying weight is exactly 13 lbs (5900 grams), right on the spot! .

                          Dang! You still have snow! It was 82 degrees F today in Kentucky. I got a two hour bicycle ride done and worked on my current project. Your Skylark looks great! Good luck with the first flight. I'm sure it'll be a non-event!
