    Thanks Jeremy,

I ordered one of these from Alex at iflytailies. I got the kit version so I can add my own wrinkle finish. It will be a perfect fit because I gave him the actual autocad drawing of the panel.

Here are the primer and paints I used. Your standard automotive sand-able primer and my favorite Kilz primer sealer stainblocker. This is what I use on balsa wood to seal the porous surface. It fills in the wood grain quickly because it sprays on thick, dries fairly quick and sands really easy. Just look at the seats.

I love Krylon spray paints. They litteraly dry to the touch in 10 minutes and is gasoline proof. Yes, I know.. It's a glider, but I use this on my giant scale gassers.
The cockpit floor, panels and interior structure is "Pebble Satin" while the seats are done in "Khaki Gloss"

The other colors used are "Banner red", "Satin Black" and the best matching and non smearing "Bright metallic finish" this one dries a little longer... Wow 5 minutes longer. Krylon is sold at Ace Hardware but the metallic finish is a special order.

but these colors are not set in stone. Let your imagination run wild.

I forgot that Jim did a thread on the cockpit kit.

Gunny has released his newest accessory for his wonderful 1/3-scale kit. This will get my build back on track (hopefully) since building out a cockpit is what

Maybe there will be one of these in my future, beautifully done kit and cockpit kit.
