  • Is it worth the effort

So I got this airframe for free with the commitment I let the prior owner fly it if it ever gets rebuilt. It is a little beat up, however, no real issues I have seen yet. It will take some work and some electronics to get it airworthy.

My question for the experts: do you recognize this airframe? and if so, do you think it will tow well behind something like the Eflite Carbon Cub?

The idea here is to have something not made of foam we can fly in our relatively small local field.

Does that LB mean it once passed through the hands of the famous lenb?

    Yup,
That was mine, It flew really well. It was the first plane I ever aerotowed with back in 1983 or so. One or two times at the most, but it flew so nice.
